Can't activate license - not a reactivation

I have my first license activated fine but I wanted to use the secondary one on my laptop - but it won't work. I've tried the wizard and the manual process but the ABKey file keeps disappearing from the ArmyBuilderEX folder and so it stays in demo.

I wonder if this is a problem because I am not an administrator on my computer (it is my work machine)? I used an admin password to install it. Or is there a problem with the license?

I think you need to run Army Builder in administrator mode. Once you start doing that, your license should install properly and you should be able to use AB normally.

If the key file keeps disappearing, it means that you are launching AB from an account that reports itself as substantively different from the account used to install it. In many cases, you can install with admin privileges and run AB without them. However, something about your work laptop is configured in a way that precludes it. So you'll need to run AB as administrator, per Colen's suggestion.
