Cannot Download update

I am having the same problem.

I am trying to download the update on my ipad, using the apple app, and it keeps stopping with an error.
I am going to try to download it from within the app and see if that works.
 
I think the confusing is coming from apple.

You know the app that tells you if any of your current apps has an update available, the App Store, I believe.

The hero lab app is appearing in there. I had downloaded the update in the hero lab app yesterday. So I was surprised to see an update in the app store.

I tried to download it, it got 1/2 through and gave an error saying, "there was a problem with the download. Do you want to try again?"

Repeated attempts show the same error.

When I cancelled, it disappeared from the app store.

This is why I wanted to know the version. I think the app store posted the update late.
It's just a lot easier to update through the app instead of the app store.
 
The current version of the App is 4.1.3 App updates are downloaded from the Apple store.

The current version of the data files is 7.11 Data updates are downloaded from within the App.

Unfortunately, Apple takes many days (6 business days for 4.1.3) to approve an update and add it to the Apple Store after we submit it, so unfortunately, we can't easily coordinate the data and app updates.

So when you're reporting errors, please be careful to specify exactly what you're trying to update, and also remember that the platform is imprortant - Mink2067, are you having a problem with the iPad app, or are you having a problem on a PC or Mac?
 
Current version is 7.11. I started my iPad app and it said new update available. Just downloaded it without issue.

You getting any error message at all?
Just to be clear I updated Pathfinder (v7.11) from inside the HL app. I didn't update the HL app from the iTunes App Store.

I did just update the app to version 4.1.3 and that also seemed to go without a problem.
