Can a vanity "Show in Specials List"?

Hello,

I have a PFS chronicle from an older adventure that grants the following:

"Your effective Constitution score for determining when you would die from hit point damage increases by 7"

I looked at the Orc fighter favored class bonus which would work great. Unfortunately, when I copied the appropriate field[livename].text portion, it doesn't show up in the specials list. This is a checkbox in the Orc fighter favored class bonus, but such a checkbox doesn't exist in vanities.

Is there a way to have a PFS vanity show up in the Specials List?

Go to the Vanity in the editor and see if it has a check box that says Show in Specials and check the box. That should solve you problem.

I looked for the "Show in Specials List". I thought I'd looked everywhere. It turns out it is below "Max Weight Held Limit" and above "Tool For?" in the "Containment Information" section.

On the Orc Favored Class bonus it was in an easy-to-find section called "Special Information".

Weirdly, when I select the "Show in Specials List" option in the vanity, it still doesn't show up in the specials tab. I suspect it is because that section is container focused.

I wonder if there is another way to get this vanity to show up in the Specials list?
 
Create an "Ability" with all the info about your vanity you want to display in the Specials list. Make sure the "Ability" is marked "Show in Specials List?". Then bootstrap your new Ability to the Vanity. This way when you add the Vanity the ability comes along and will display in the Specials list.
 
That did it. I had to make the name of the ability "+7 Con to determine death from negative HP." so it showed up correctly in "Specials". I also had to add a helper for PFSUserOK. Does anybody know why the parent vanity keeps showing up as "Gear" though? The only Tag is PFSUserOK.
