Campaign organization question

I am looking into buying the Realm Works software. I have used Obsidian Portal for many years, but the lack of promised development and support has become troublesome.

My question is can you create a campaign world and then be able to have multiple groups running in that world with separate logs, what has been revealed to them, maps, etc?

Not yet.

Eventually, you will be able to create a master realm and then copy it so that you have a unique realm for each group. These separate but similar realms would have most, if not all the features you requested, but it isn't here yet.

Individual reveals for individual characters is also on the 'to do list' but I don't know how long until that happens.

The two big upcoming additions LWD is working on is 'The Marketplace' and 'Web Based Access'. Copying a realm is dependent on 'The Marketplace' though, so hopefully we will get the ability to copy our realms with or not long after 'The Marketplace' goes live.

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping I could run my two groups in the same world a little more easily, but I still think I will be buying Realm Works soon. Hopefully with the new features being added this will be be added, or at least something close to the feature im looking for.

From my understanding, one really nice feature with the Marketplace is that you will be able to create a "master" realm that other "child" realms can then inherit from. So you can add regions and NPC's that all your "child" realms will be able to see but what is revealed and what adventures are specific to each "child" will be unique.
