Building NPC's & Skills

OK, trying to put together some NPCs for a game I'm running, but when I try to set skills, they don't change and I get a notice like: "This value is not at its default value (difference +2)".

How do I get rid of that and allow skills to be at non-default values?

If its an NPC, just ignore the alerts. There are for balancing, but as the GM you can make a NPC as skilled or unskilled as you wish.

The thing is... I can't give them specific skills like +4 Athletics, I can only assign them default, good or master.

ah yes, I have noticed this also, the only direct modification method would be to create a PC as your NPC, which would give you more controls and be more accurate.

Well, after fiddling around, I found where overrides to skills can be made. Unfortunately after doing that, I've hit a bug where I cannot login to HLO.

The element you provided cannot be rendered. You provided an element of type undefined.

*sigh*

It looks like there's something odd going on with the server right now. Sorry about that! We're troubleshooting and should have it fixed soon.
