Hello, I'd like to discuss some issues I've been having with HeroLab. But first, please let me say that I've been using this program, full version, for quite some time now. Though, as I level up and acquire new abilities, items or effects, I see more and more glaring problems. I play a human ranger, so let's start with some of the issues:

1) The Blade Dancer paragon path feature "Cutting Steps" does not properly add the +1 bonus to AC and damage rolls.

2) The Epic destiny Prison of the Winds feature "Essence of Heur-Ket" does not properly add the +2 bonus to Constitution, Dexterity, and Speed.

3) Some daily attack powers such as "Attacks on the Run" and "Answer with Steel" don't properly display the damage formula when hovering over the tooltip.

4) The Two-Weapon Fighting feat only adds 1 damage to the main hand, when it was changed to affect both weapons.

5) Vampire Alacrity doesn't properly add +1 to your speed.

6) Items like the "Siberys Shard of Merciless Cold" should be able to be directly equipped with whichever weapon you want.

7) When searching for feats or items, they should be split into categories such as Racial Feats, Class Feats, Epic Tier feats, etc. Where as items would be split into Head slot, Feet slot, Waist slot, Ring slot, etc. Searching via name alone is quite a pain.

8) Choosing a Chaotic Evil deity when the character is Chaotic Evil results in an error message, this should be changed.

9) The journal tab should calculate how much XP is needed to level up.

10) When you use the in-play feature and become bloodied, all stats should be updated accordingly. Such as a bonus to speed from Bloodied Fleetness feat.

I realize this is a lot and will take time, but I would urge you to fix at least the essential bugs asap, such as 1 through 5. Thank you ^_^

Paragon Path powers are showing up on the sheet for higher levels that character do not have access to. An 11th level character should not be seeing a 20th level power on the attacks section of the sheet and wondering where is the power card only to find out they don't have access to the power yet.

Another Bug I found is that the Multiclass Feat Psionic Dabbler gives the power points but does not allow me to choose a psionic power with it, which the feat would normally allow me to do.

I am doing some old school mods for my Dark Sun game and allowing players to manifest wild talents via multiclass feat as a bonus if they roll high enough on my wild talent table. This has made the game feel a little more like the older version but I would like the ability to have the one power this gives on their sheets. ^_^ please and thank you.

Another bug: Hybrid class encounter powers are only showing for one class.

I put in fighter and psion (in that order) and only the fighter encounter powers are showing up.

Situation4,
Here are a few work arounds for you, go to the personal tab; at the bottum of the page is Permanent Adjustements (always active) you can add the +1 to AC directly to your armor, damage is a bit harder (either add it to each power or just remember to add 1 to all damage). The Epic stuff can be added here as well (attributes ect). #4 is again just remember to add, or you can add it to the weapon {this will add a full plus to that weapon, not just damage}. #5 Vampire Alacrity you can handle in Personal tab again.
I always leave a note for my self in the "personal details" so that I understand what the plusses are for and when they are fixed I know what to remove.
The Chaotic Evil diety, gives the error for any alignment (no matter if you have the RPGA stuff up or not {you can not make a RPGA character with an evil align. period})

Yeah I just ignore the validation error on alignments. Once in a while I run an evil campaign with evil characters. Player characters in the army of Bane in the Realms fighting Cyrics treachery and Shar's cunning often make for very good games. Most players usually expect good v. evil, but when you do an evil v. evil v. evil game it leads to a whole different kind of gaming experience. This alignment bug is just something I ignore for these games. I allow evil characters in Dark Sun as well... since you rarely see a Good Templar using arcane defilement...
