[Bug Reports] Warriors of Chaos

Hi EdSteiner,

None of the Tamurkhan Lords add points costs. This happens under Chaos Warriors with "allow Warhammer Forge" ticked. Under Lords you can add either Tamurkhan the Magot Lord (Sargath) or Tamurkhan the Magot Lord (Tyrant) none of which add points under the composition summary for Lord.

I'm not sure what you mean by which units but basically Lords. Doesn't matter what you add after that they still show as 0 points for both these Lords. The roster points themselves do increase however.

Hi EdSteiner,

"tamurkhan chaos dwarf units cannot be army general"

Tamurkhan is not a chaos dwarf or dwarf unit, and the forgeworld tamurkhan campaign books require him to be the general (page 106 right column 2nd para) . If you then choose to add Sigvald with a higher leadership it won't let you use tamurkhan as your general. This is probably the same for any higher leadership model.

Ok this is not a Choas Dwarf issue (Chaos Dwarfs have there own file set.) it is a Warhammer Forge file issue. Now I can work to fix it :)

Thank you for clearly describing the issue, I have fixed and solved it for the 2.62 release.

Pendant of Slanesh

Hi Ed,

First bug report so apologies if it is a known one, Pendant of Slanesh Page 63 WoC 50pts in AB 20pts plus I think the description lacks the break test can be taken on one dice less than usual.

Thanks for all your hard work:)

Forget the above I had the allow obsolete armies rule set ticked:eek:

Apologies all.

Simon

When you select a Chaos Sorcerer and then give him a chaos stead the bard rule is added but greyed out as normal but the barding rule for the demonic stead also becomes a buying option. I tested this on the 2 lord chars and the exalted hero and they don't have this bug.

A hidden flag was not set correctly. Corrected for 2.66

When you give any lord or hero class a talisman that bestows a ward save and then give them mark of Tzeentch, it separates the ward saves instead of reducing it. Armours that bestow ward saves still work correctly.

-Allure of Slaanesh states Sorcerers Only in description (though it seems to function correctly)
-Warshrine lists crew as "Chaos Shiremaster" and "Chaos Shire Bearers" (I didn't know hobbits lived that far north...)
-Scaled Skin gift lists effect on second line in roster output (first line is empty), and simply lists effect as "Scaly Skin" with no mention of the value of the save (5+)
-Warshrine entry has extra semicolon following Protections of the Dark Gods in description (which should also read "Protection")

Alright, I know - now I'm just being picky. ;p

Never worry about being picky, that's what I want to help make better files.

Corrected for 2.68

If you aren't sick of me yet (well, even if you are I suppose...):

-Forsaken of Nurgle don't have Fear added to their special rules section
-Forsaken of Tzeentch are (erroneously) given a 6+ Ward save

I never get tired of making the files better..

Fixed for 2.68

Well in that case:

-Chaos Familiar gift: "knows one extra spell then normal for his level" should be "knows one more spell than normal for his level" (or could simply be framed as "knows one extra spell", although that's arguably a little less clear)

Yum Yum Yum

Fixed for 2.68

Oh, ooh! Can I sneak in one more for 2.68?

-Skull of Katam: "unit is removed as causality" should be "unit is removed as casualty"

And if I'm going to be really picky (and you know I am)...

-Skull of Katam: effect description uses both "channeling" and "channelling". I believe both are correct (regardless of what my browser's spellcheck might say...), but you should probably pick one and stick with it. (The army book seems to use the double-L version, for the record.)

Done n done for 2.68

Ack! Stumbled across a couple more...

-Chaos Warshrine:
--Favour of the Ruinous Powers: "If friendly model within 12" or one or more Chaos Warshires when he rolls on the Eye of the Gods[...]" should be something along the lines of "If friendly model within 12" of one or more Chaos Warshrines rolls on the Eye of the Gods table[...]" (there are a couple of other ways to frame it, but that seems like the shortest)
--Giver of Glory: "[...] for the Favour of the Ruinous Powers special rule" should be "[...] from the Favour of the Ruinous Powers special rule"

I blame the hobbits, personally. ;p
