M&M 3rd ed. Bug: Offense in Char Sheet is Toughness biased

Hi all,

My group downloaded HL v3.6 today with the latest M&M 3 data file, currently using in Demo mode. We like it a lot so far.

I noticed the following, apologies if it is a known issue:

When doing a Print Preview (and I assume an actual print if you had a license) Powers do not show up in the Offense section of the character sheet unless the resistance they go against is Toughness.

To see this:

1. Create a new character, add a Blast.
2. Add an Affliction, choose Will or Fortitude, your choice.
3. look at Print Preview - the Blast will be on the Offense section the Affliction will not. Close Print Preview.
4. Edit the Blast to have an Alternate Resistance of anything other than Toughness.
5. Edit the Afflicaton to have an Alternate Resistance of Toughness.
6. look at Print Preview again. The Affliction now appears in the Offense section and the Blast does not.

It does not matter what the power is, we have seen this happen with Damage, and other offensive powers. It seems to be based solely on the resistance being Toughness vs 'not Toughness'.

Is it possible to change this so that all offenses show up in the chart?

It would a decent compromise, I guess, if the powers also had the to-hit bonus listed in their individual entries and not just the DCs but i think the chart is the nicer solution. It seems a shame that one cannot have their Will-based Damage, or their run of the mill Fortitude-based Afflicition show up in the chart, because theres no place to see the to-hit bonus compared to Toughness based attacks. It's just not convenient (or symmetrical).

When you start talking about powers that should be linked to Close Combat or Ranged Combat, the alternate rersistance powers are getting gyped of two of HL's niceties - being on the chart, and having to-hit pre-calculated.
