Bug in new AB update ?

New member
I just downloaded and tried the new WH40k data base update for AB v3.1c and I can't access the IAL entries ( ie, XV-81's, 84's, Shas'O R'myr, etc.). I have the inclusion rule for the IAL lists checked and before the update those entries displayed correctly - so what's the poop? Is this a bug/oversight by the author?

This is because the main author of the Tau Data files doesn't have $100 to spend on a book that includes rules he may or may not be able to use. To this end, there is someone else who does the data files for IA3, and I will check with them and see how progress is going.

I would also like to point out that the main data author is accepting of donations. I heard that if someone wanted to really donate their personal copy to him, he would be more than happy to work on that file set as well. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I saw an offer a while back. So if any of you are willing to part with your book, I am sure Shi_Vral would give it a go at creating your new content.

I guess for that matter, if someone donated a book to me, I would probably be willing to do the same work as well.

Hmmm....<Cough>.....Supply the data file author with a "donated" copy of IA3? Sorry - but no. One thing that I can do is - email you a copy of the data file that contains the missing IA3 data so that it can be recomplied with the current one. Would this help?
