I'm running a Blood Bowl League with 14 coaches in it.

I just bought Army Builder this week and I am trying to use it to
keep track of the league's teams and player stats.

Has anyone ran a BB league and used Army Builder for all their teams?

What are the best solutions for ranking teams and players within a
single league?

Thanks,
-Kevin

As the author of the current BB files, I can say that they are WOEFULLY out
of date. I believe someone is working on updating them, however.

I'm afraid I haven't made much progress with them. The local league ended, and
with it my motivation to keep working on it.

There's no way that I can think of to do league tracking for multiple teams
with AB that makes much sense. The local league did create a Yahoo Group for
keeping track of things, and that seemed to work pretty well.

If you've lost the motivation to deal with them, I would be happy to take over.
We've got a strong, thriving league going here, and it's just a bit of
experience I'd like to get in any case.

Any thoughts on my offer to take over work on the files?

Hey there Jason,

Is there anything special which needs to be done to update the
listing on Wolf Lair's web site indicate the current 'owner' of the files?

you should contact wolflair to get the ownership of the files switched over
to you. They will give you a logon/password so that you can access/modify
the file info on their website.

Yes, I am passing the ownership on... but I wouldn't update it until he
releases something, so he doesn't get too bugged :)

Sweet! Keep us all updated of your BB file progress.

On a side note, for our League, we found that we need 2 seperate
rosters for keeping track of our BB teams.

One roster, the AB roster, which has ALL of each Team's important
info and stats, and even some flavor text in the notes.

And a second roster, an Excel printed (or hand written) roster, that
fits on one sheet of paper (landscape format) and has only the
escential player/team stats, that is easier to use during
the actual games.

I have 2 questions....

1. Can AB rosters be created to print out these 2 different versions
from a single roster?

2. Can AB rosters be printed out in Landscape format? The tables we
play on fit rosters better in Landscape than in Portrait format. =)

Thanks again,
-Kevin

Check out the 'Output Settings' sub-menu of the 'Settings' menu. There, you
can configure what gets output and what does not.

>2. Can AB rosters be printed out in Landscape format? The tables we

This is configured at the data file level. One of the fields in the
definition file specifies whether rosters for the game can be printed in
portrait, landscape, or either format (this is important for games with
lots of stats, where there is almost no chance of fitting everything on one
line). If you want it changed, your best bet is to ask the data file author.
