Blind Fight requiring a script

hrs

Member
just purchased HL, very impressed with the product. great job!

I was building up a char sheet and I noticed that the "Blind Fight" feat has actually no evaluation script in it.

Normally such feat has no active impact on the character scores, since it just negates the advantages of the opponent. Things change when you have a blind (or blinded) character, in that case "Blind Fight" has an impact on the scores.

Being blind means -2 AC and no DEX bonus to AC against all opponents, and this is correctly implemented. But "Blind Fight" gives back the DEX bonus and prevents the -2 against melee opponents at least, and this is not automated. It should at least be listed in the pop up menu in circumstantial bonus.

Is there a way to implement this?

Both of those can be submitted through the same mechanism, and we'll examine the issue the same either way. Thanks!

For melee blind fight does remove the the penalties, while for ranged attacks you don't get dex bonus to ac and the attacker gets a +2.

in hero lab, when you have blind fight and blind selected you get -dex and -2ac

it should put a note somewhere and since most combat are melee remove the penalty.
