Blessed Book as spellbook

Scott2bReal

Hi everyone!

I recently rolled up a lvl 12 Wizard in HLO, and wanted to use a Blessed Book to hold all of his spells. So, I bought the book and it's appearing in my magic items tab. In the Blessed Book description there is this note:

Note: This is now set up to function as a spellbook, but when adding spells to it you must manually check the box for "Buy for free?"

However, I don't see a way to add any spells to it, and it doesn't appear in my "Spellbooks and spells summary" menu. I'm not sure if I'm just missing something or if this is a bug. Any insights?

Thanks!

Necroing, but since no one has provided an answer...

There are a couple steps to take here:
1) You should have an item under "Gear" that is labelled as just "Spellbook" - Click the configure button on that.
2) Rename it to "Blessed Book" and adjust the pages upwards from 100 to 1000. Not sure why this doesn't happen automatically, but it needs done.
3) On this same dialog, select the class that you want to add spells from in the "Choose a Class to Use Spells From This Spellbook" drop down.
4) Click on "Add Spells", select "Scribed from free source (Ink Only)" and then select "Buy for Free".
5) Add the spells you want to add to the Blessed Book

Hope this helps.

Blessed book should just work as your spellbook now. There was an issue setting it as such, but it's been fixed.
