Big problem

Somehow HeroLab got corrupted when I was updating the product. I deleted everything and downloaded again, but now when I try to load it get the welcoming screen, but behind it is a screen that is trying to tell me something but can't because the welcoming screen will not move so I can't tell what is behind it. I think it's about restoring from some kind of backup file. If I try and continue, I don't have a clue as to what to do. There must be some kind of file that I can't find. I somehow need to get things restored and back up and running again.

I'm caught in an endless loop. I load HL, the logo appears and right behind it is a box that is asking for some kind of file. I think it's a backup file, but I don't know what it is because the logo is in front of it and neither one of the visuals will move so I can't tell what it is asking for. I does not recognize my license, and every time I reenter my license information the program does not remember. At least I saved the characters before hand!

It seems my license got eaten, today. Was fine, last night. Can't reactivate it. Sent emails and license request. Would love a reply ASAP.

CmdrRaster: I assume you're referring to "Case 19434" that you submitted a few hours ago?

How many computers are you using Hero Lab on? If you're using HL on more than one computer, you need to make sure each of your computers is using a *different* license number. Each computer needs its own license number to run properly - you can activate your free secondary license from the License menu, then use your new license number on your second computer to get up and running.

Once you have a different license number attached to each computer you use Hero Lab on, you should stop needing to have to reassign your license every time you update the program.

I've given your license a one-time early license transfer authorization, so you should be able to activate and use it on your computer again, but please double-check that you have a different license number in use on every computer.

Hope this helps!

Downloaded and reinstalled. When I try to launch I get the following message:

Unable to execute file

CreateProcess failed: code 740
The required operation requires elevation.
