Hello Rob! I'm not sure if you recognize me from the Direwolf
list or not but I'm going to be maintaining the Warmaster data
files and am a member of the egroups Warmaster list FAQ group.
I heard from an anonymous source (wouldn't want to put someone
on your bad side) that there was a Beta group that was helping
to test(?) and recommend things for the v2.0 release of AB.
I was wondering if I might be able to join this group.

Thanks for you time.

You've made a mistake even mentioning it. Watch out for the black
helicopters, they'll be coming to pick you up for 'questioning'. :)

You are absolutely welcome to join! And nobody gets in trouble for
mentioning the Beta effort, either! At the present time, the Beta group is
restricted primarily to people who have been working on data files and/or
those who have contributed significant ideas to help shape the product in
the past. Since you are now taking over the Warmaster files, you are quite
welcome to join the effort. I'm hoping to open the Beta program up to
additional people at the end of April, when the focus will be on testing
the crap out of user-oriented features as well as new extensions in
addition to the data file mechanisms.

I'll send you a separate invitation to the Beta group presently. :-)

To everyone: If you are working on data files for a particular game system
and want to help uncover bugs in the new V2.0 version of AB, please let me
know and you can be added to the team!

Thanks, Rob
