Does anybody know of any Battletech data files in the works? I don't
have the time to do one myself, damn that job, but was wondering if
anybody else had one in the works..

They're being worked on... IIRC October is the current 'likely finished
date' for them.

Would be nice to see piloting/gunnery skills, mech values of course,
maybe incorporate payscales from the Merc Field Manual, mech stats,

Yes, I'm working on them.

Currently AB v2 can't quite do the custom Mech creation thing yet, but I'm
working with Rob to get that changed. Don't have a date as yet, but I
expect Real Soon Now.

What will they do?

Track all stats of a 'Mech including the BV so you can create even BV
point Lances to battle with. At this stage, you'll still have to transfer
the stats to a 'Mech sheet, but such is life :-)

Actually the BV part is a help, but was also hoping to be able to add
salaries posibly to help with running a merc unit...hopefully
removing some of my paperwork.
