Barbarian rage health.

So i have a question about barbarian rage temp health. According to RAW the temporary bonus to health is lost after your actual hit points which mean if you get taken down to 0 while raging you immediately drop out of rage and lose your temp health which can cause you to drop below your con and perma kill you. However in Hero Lab when you are raging and take damage it takes it off of the temp health first is there something i'm doing wrong or is it just wrong in the software?

There are two types of Barbarians, regular and unchained, regular you get a boost to your Con score which gives you more hit points, and unchained which gives you temporary hit points. When taking damage temp hp is affected first (IE unchained), however with regular Barbarians you dont have temp hit points, just an increase due to a higher con score. A regular Barbarian as what is known as rage death, exactly what you described, since Unchained uses temp HP and those are lost first, they do not suffer from rage death.

PS see http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/coreRulebook/combat.html#temporary-hit-points
