Attempting to Add a New Race - Help Needed

Hi everyone,

I have owned Herolab for months now but just found the editor today! I'm really excited, but I need a little guidance and the tutorials just weren't enough.

My first problem is that I want a flexible stat bonus like the one provided by the human race, but I want it to only apply to either Intelligence or Charisma. Help?

In the editor, you can copy existing things. Can you copy the Human's ability bonus racial special and see how that works?
 
Aaron's response is going to be your best friend. That is how a lot of people learn how to use it. If you want to do something, and can think of something else that has the same, or similar ability, make a copy of it and look at how it is done.

You can learn a lot from doing that.
