Army Builder locking up.

I've used ArmyBuilder frequently over the last few years, but earlier this week the program locked up every time I opened it. I decided to uninstall the program, delete the armybuilder folder and then reinstall. So I did, and same problem. As soon as it tries looking for updates it locks up. I noticed in my task manager that ArmyBuilder.exe is running 60K memory and I cannot end the process from this menu, it doesn't do anything, just sits there. I'd love for my program to start working again....please help!

Unfortunately, this is exactly what I last tried. Armybuilder still locked up when I tried to use it, before I got the choose or import a data file (game system).
 
Oops, sorry for missing that in your original message. When you say that AB locks up as soon as it starts looking for updates, do you mean that it's fine until then? What if you try to load a game system, then check updates from there?
