Animal Companion question

I imagine it is similar to what it is for Paladin. The class tab (should be 4th from the left between Abilities and Skills) should have a button.
 
What do you mean by "new class"? Have you made a new Hero, or have you created a class in the editor?
 
I made a new class in the editor Dami, I went back into the editor and did what Joe C said and it fixed the issue that I was having and now the new class can select from the Druid list of animal companions.
