Animal Companion HP Confusion

I am making a druid with a wolf companion for use in a local Pathfinder Society meetup. I have my druid all done and now I am working on my wolf.

When I add the companion, it automatically adds 2 lvls, using 2 Additional HD, like it says in the book. But it is adding a +2 CON to each die...isn't that wrong? I thought that the +2 CON bonus is a single level thing, and since HL is treating the wolf as a Lvl 2, it added the CON Bonus 2x. So now it starts out with 13 HP, instead of (what I think) 11 HP.

Am I missing something?

You are mistaken. All creatures add their Constitution modified to their hit points every time they gain a hit die. In Pathfinder Society, characters gain the average rounded up at every level after first (A d10 gets you 5.5 rounded to 6hp every level after first). Animal companions only get the average (4.5 hp every level) plus con modifier.
