Animal Archive: Paladins taking Mount Archetypes?

Hero Lab is not letting my apply the Bodyguard archetype to my Paladin Divine Bond mount; the error message is, "This archetype may only be selected by characters with an animal companion". Is this intentional?

For all intents and purposes, a Paladin's mount is treated like an Animal companion so I would think they could apply archetypes that apply to Animal Companions.
 
When you do report it, please include more information, like character level - for example, have you gotten to level 5 and selected "Divine Bond (Paladin Mount)" yet? Because if you haven't selected that yet, then your character does not have an animal companion.
