Ammo and Effects Help

Frodie

Well-known member
A few things if I can get help with:

In the Modern setting I have ammo with a Tracker count of how many, (i.e. 10-gauge buckshot (10)), and now they show up in the trackers with correct number count. But when I add an effect (i.e. silver, Armor Piercing, etc), to the ammo, the tracker goes down to 1. I can’t find a work around and/or why it would change the number in the Tracker.

Also, where would be the best place to put new ammo effects, “Item Power” ,“Material”, and/or “Gear”?

Also, what is best to attach the new ammo effects too, “Ranged Weapons” instead of “Ammunition”?

Thanks for the help!

For ammo - make a copy of the arrows - see how they handle the 20 uses/purchase thing (it's not by adding a tracker to the ammo - it's by using the lot size field on the right, and dividing the purchase price/weight by the lot size).

Item Powers, Material, and creating different items will all work for creating different versions of ammo. There are examples in the files of each (mithral material, flaming item power, and flight arrows as a new item).

All the existing ammo in the files is created on the weapons tab.
