Do you guys have an ETA on when it will be possible to modify characters through the API? Reading is kind of useful, but the actual cool stuff can be made when writing is possible as well.

I guess it will be tied to the ability for characters to influence each other (e.g; cast spells on each other); is that also still in the works?

This kind of functionality has been promised since before HLO was even released (i.e. several years ago), however LW has refused to give any kind of estimate for when it might be implemented. It's presumably still "in the works", but I wouldn't hold my breath.
