adjusting attirbutes

I'm trying to alter the 4E data files so that the default attribute scores will always load at 8 for each attribute rather than 10. However when I set the minimum score to 8 on 2768 and 2800 in the data file hero lab returns an error on loading bmp images.

Has anyone else came across this?

Any suggestions how to fix?
