Just put the file you downloaded into the dat directory in your AB
folder. It's an actual .40k as opposed to a .AB file. I believe it's
data, but it might be rosters or units. Just check for whichever one
has the other datafiles in it. Admech gets overwritten with each
update if you don't uncheck the option.

Actually, it's a .zip file. I got it from the ab-files egroup, and
downloaded it to the data folder. When I tried to import it, AB told
me that it wasn't a valid AB import file. I suppose this is my
error, so I was wondering what I should do.

I'm guessing that it's a .40k file that's been zipped. I don't
believe AB will import it. Just try unzipping it into your data
folder.

Yeah, you just have to drop them in the "data" directory since they're
.40k files, and they will load automatically (sorry should have said that
earlier). Hopefully that's your problem, if it's coming up with errors
when it does load (which closes AB altogether) then we need to talk
and figure the problem out (though I don't have the time to support
the files very well).

As for new updates, I believe the file will actually get erased unless the
box is unchecked, since the file is not included in Colen's set yet.

Unzip it to get the .40K file and drop that into the 'data' directory.
No need to import it from the AB screen, just start wh40k.

It just means someone doesn't know about ABExport. Just unzip it as
normal, and send them an annoyed email asking them to do it properly
next time. :)
