Adept Power Points

Can someone tell me how to do adept power points for a mystic adept. In character creation if you add adept powers on the magic tab it takes away 5 karma per point like it should and it says the character is valid. Once you lock creation it gives a error in bottom left corner. Adept Power Points: On the Magic tab, you will have to disable some of you Adept Powers until your Power Points used is below your Power Points available. Then you go to magic tab and is says I've used 0 of 0 +6. So I've used creation karma to buy points but they didn't get bought once locked. Am I doing something wrong
 
Glad I'm not the only one. Have any of you bugged this? I don't want to bog the devs down with duplicate bugs, but do want to make sure it gets to them.
 
As a side note it should actually be 2 karma per Power Point, not 5.

This is a pretty big bug as it effectively does not allow you to create a Mystic Adept.

Somewhere in the FAQ (cannot find it now that I am looking for it) they moved the mystic adept Power Points up to 5 each.
 
How do I add extra adept powers during character creation? I'm seeing it as red when I add more powers and it won't let me lock the character creation.
 
There's no rule in the character creation system allowing regular adepts to purchase additional power points during creation - they have to increase their magic to get more power points.
 
Sorry, do you mean "Oh, ****" meaning my reading of the rules is ****, or meaning you've been playing this character for a while and now you need to fix it, or meaning that your GM allows this as a house rule, and you don't know how to get Hero Lab to implement that rule?

I believe option 2 is the answer, judging from the "Doh!" emote face.

Any updates on this issue?

It's been almost two years since this post was made and I can't find anything about the bug being resolved. I'm currently trying to build a Mystic Adept and can't find a place to purchase Power Points.
 
Just add the powers - Hero Lab will calculate how many power points are required for that, and deduct the appropriate amount of karma.
