Adding Skills?

I've been messing around with the Editor, but I can't seem to get this to work right...

My DM is using a House Rule (edition 3.5) where instead of having both "Hide" and "Move Silently" skills, we instead have one skill called "Sneak" that covers both. I've edited a skills.dat file, placed in the d20 data folder and received no error messages when testing and loading. But when I go to the Skills tab to add those skills to the character, nothing shows up.

Does anyone have a walk-thru for creating a Skill or might know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Here's what you do:

1) Create a new dat file in the editor and save it to the d20 folder (not in the d20/source folder)

2) In the editor, go to the Skills tab

3) Hit the "New (Blank)" button

4) Fill in the information that it wants

5) Save, then hit "Test Now" at the top of the editor

6) If you selected "Must add manually" for your new skill, it won't show up on your character until you click the "add additional skill" button on the character creation screen

After this you should be good to go!
