Adding favored class option from one race to another

Hello, I'm trying to let Vishkanya take the favored class option for Alchemists that Nagaji have.

I figured I could do that by importing Nagaji Alchemist (fcAlcNagaj) and editing it so it is available to Vishkanya, but that didn't work. I haven't really messed with the editor at all besides adding in a simple trait so I'm probably missing something really obvious.

Thank you.

The second necessary step is to get it onto a character who has taken the appropriate race. Either copy the Vishkanya race, bootstrap your new FCB to the race, and have the new version replace the old, OR create a mechanic and bootstrap the FCB to that.

The former will mean any changes we make to Vishkanya in the future won't affect your system, the latter means the FCB will be present on all heroes, not just those who pick the Vishkanya as their race (although it won't actually be selectable by others). Pick whichever method you prefer.

I'm still not getting it to work.

What I've done:
Used New (Copy) to important fcAlcNagaj
Added Vishkanya to Available to Races
Saved and clicked Test Now!

On your advice I went back and added rVishkanya to bootstraps. Still nothing. What did I miss?

What Aaron said:
"bootstrap your new FCB to the race"

What you said:
"added rVishkanya to bootstraps"

So you've got those backwards - the FCB is bootstrapped from the race - not the race being bootstrapped from the FCB.
