Adding Currency to HL

Has anyone added currency to the HL Pathfinder system? I'm not talking about creating new gear and using that, which I have done as a work around, but actually expanding the CP, SP, GP, PP list?

In our campaign we have the concept of Orbs & Plates for currency. Higher value per piece, but less weight to address encumbrance. I'd like to add those if at all possible.

You won't be able to add that as actual currency - it is too tied into the core system. All you can do is add your Orbs and Plates as 'valuables' in the gear tab. valuables are bought and sold by default at 100% face value, so they will work for this purpose - you'll just have to sell your orbs and plates for gold then purchase the gear you want, and you can buy the orbs and plates with gold to transfer back.
 
Thanks. That's the route I went, but was hoping for a tighter coupling to the currency system that underlies HL. This works.
