Adding a class ability to a preexisting class

So I'm working on a book about Inquisitors and it adds a number of new Judgements to the class is there a way to add them short making an archetype that adds judgements?

Not sure if I can do a mechanic with a bootstrap condition based on if cHelpInq lives or something along that line. The more I think about it the messier it sounds. oy.

It adds them to the base inquisitor class? The only way to do that other than an archetype or a custom class ability would be a copy/replace.

What I think I'm going to do is make a mechanic that gives an optional custom ability and then add them like that.

Remember that these are class abilities - they need to be able to trace a path back to their class. If they're attached to a mechanic, they can't establish that path.

Go with the archetype.
