Addding Elven Chain To Custom Magic Armor

Elven chain is just a mithril chainmail, so you can put it in like that.

That's not quite true.

mithril chainmail is chainmail with the following stats:
+2 Maxdex bonus
-3 armor check penalty
-10% arcane spell failure
treated as light armor instead of medium armor in terms of movement

However, it still requires MEDIUM ARMOR PROFICIENCY to wear it correctly.

elven chain, on the other hand, is very similar to mithril chainmail, but it is LIGHT ARMOR by definition, so can be worn by folks with who are only proficient with light armor. It also costs 1,000 gp more than mithril chainmail (5,150 for elven chain vs 4,150 for mithril chainmail).

This has been verified by James Jacobs on the messageboards.

Go to the Armor, Magic tab in the editor and make a copy of Elven Chain - you can make your modifications from there and create the specific suit you need.
