Add Race

I know I have searched high and low on this part of the forum.

I have CoC installed along with Hero Lab. My only question is: how do I add the race from the editor to start when I load an investigator, NPC, or someone else.

I have tried to add Undead Fiend for Walter Corbitt, an enemy NPC, for the Haunting Scenario. Somehow, I could not add the Undead Fiend to use for Walter Corbitt.

I do not have the proper stats for the Undead Fiend race but I do know that Corbitt has fixed stats for himself. In doing so, I tried to say that Corbitt's race has no fixed attribute stats. I saved it and loaded the portfolio again. Now, it doesn't show up. It only says Human or Tcho Tcho.

Does anyone have any idea about how to fix this?

On the configure hero form (ctrl-k to re-open it on an existing character), set the character as a creature, rather than an NPC - NPCs only get the most human-like races to choose from.

Or, if Undead Fiend is a race you created yourself in the editor, you can change the "Race Type" to "Human-Like" to make it show up as one of the choices for an NPC.
