Huh?  Will there be a differentiation between CD owners and download owners?
Just curious, I guess...

Yes, there is a differentiation. There always has been. The registration 
mechanism is completely changing to a new method. This will cause AB V2 to 
NOT work for all currently registered users. Existing registered users will 
need to switch to the new registration scheme. The CD will continue to be 
recognized as a key disc, however.

As I mentioned already, the details will be announced when they have been 
finalized.

Hmm...

I guess when I purchased the download version I thought I was merely
avoiding the added cost of CD, CD manufacture, distribution, etc.  I don't
necessarily have a problem with paying a small update fee, I just don't see
the difference between the CD owners and the download types.  No need to
respond, I guess I'll just wait to see what the details are.
