It's a double helping of incompe--- excitement here at Skrill HQ tonight,
with new 40k and mordheim files released. Unfortunately, I've just gone
insane and lost the will to live after spending an hour trying to get
Captain "I can give normal squad members wargear" Invictus working. If you
know whoever wrote the rules for him, please forward their name and address
to your friendly neighborhoor assassin.

As always, just hit the Locate Files button within AB, or if you're using
AB Lite go to:

The latest file is there.

Also on the 'to be killed' list is whoever drops the price of RAM chips
just after I buy the things, whoever wrote Captain Invictus (he has to get
it twice) and anyone I see in the street that I don't like the look of. But
enough! haha.

Note to any assassins who might read this list: Don't kill anyone above,
I'm just joking. Unless that is, you can do it without anyone making the
connection to me! You ain't seen me, right?

40k:
v2.24 CHANGES
*~~~~~~~~~~~~~*

Added the Iron Warriors.
Added the Tyranid Seeding Swarm.

Space Marines:
Added the new Ultramarine special characters, including Captain Bloody
Invictus.

Dark Eldar Wych Cult:
You can now take a Tormentor Helm and Wych Weapon.

Chaos Space Marines:
The Mark of Nurgle now affects the Biker Champion properly.
A transport vehicle can't take, e.g., the Destroyer of Khorne, if it
belongs to a unit of Thousand Sons. And so on.

Space Wolves:
The number of Wolf Guard is now always computed correctly.
More transport vehicles now give you an error message if you put too many
people into them.

Iyanden Eldar:
You can now take Spirit Seers as Independent Characters.

Dark Angels:
Veteran Sergeants in the Deathwing and Ravenwing can now be Stubborn.
Added Campaign capability to all units.

VDR:
Corrected the points costs for the Eldar Missile Launcher and Scatter Laser.



Mordheim:
v3.4 Changes

Changes made by Colen:

The Halfling Scout upkeep cost is now shown.

The Daemon Weapon now gives you an extra attack if you have two CC
weapons.

Changed a few items, including the Elven Cloak, to cost "17 +
D6x10" instead of "17 + D6*10".

You can no longer include more than one Priest in your warband.



Changes made by Chris:

Changed Great Crest Strength from 4 to 3
Sea Dragon Cloak was changed to show 5+/4+ for Save instead of 5+/+1
Adjusted Hired swords for Lustria

Lizardmen - Chameleon Skink, Pathfinder, Ogre
Bodyguard, Warlock.
(Will not work for Skaven or Orks,
assume meaning will not
work for 'non-human' warbands)
Norse - Imperial Assassin, Pathfinder,
Freelancer, Halfling Scout,
Norse Shaman, Ogre Bodyguard,
Pitfighter, Tilean Marksman, Warlock
(Not specifically evil, so cannot hire
DE Assassin, Trollslayer and
Ranger were difficult, so I erred on the
conservative side. Until
something official comes out it'll stay
this way.)
High Elf - Elf Ranger (specifically stated, High
Elves may never hire Hired
Swords of non-High Elf blood)
Dark Elves - Dark Elf Assassin, Pathfinder, Ogre
Bodyguard, Warlock
(Assassin will not work for Shadow
Warriors. Assumed its an elf thing.
Trollslayer wouldn't work with Dark
Elves, and neither would an Elf Ranger.
Freelancer only works for mercenaries,
pirates and Shadow Warriors. Erred
conservatively here.
Norse Shaman only works for Mercenaries
and humans.
Pit Fighter doesn't work for Skaven or
Undead. Assume they have a thing
against evil. Erred Conservatively.
Tilean again, doesn't work for Skaven,
Undead or Orks. Assume that also
includes the Evil Dark Elves.)

NOTE REGARDING HIRED SWORDS: Until I see something official
either in Town Crier or on the Newsgroup, this is the way it will be. I
could rationalize every warband hiring every Hired Sword, but its not about
rationalization. We have asked for an official ruling on this and haven't
even had an acknowledgement that its an issue.
