New! For Army Builder 2! Beta Pattern 40K files. Changes below, but
first I'm going to talk at you.

Many people have complained about the way that I've only got the 40k
files available by joining this mailing list. This was because I was
faced with two choices:
1) Keep the 40k files on skrill.org
OR
2) Get download rates of more than 10k / minute from skrill.org.
This will soon change! I shall shortly be arranging a web hosting thing
with Demon Internet which, for the reasonable sum of £20 (that's a pound
sign, in case it doesn't get through) per month, gives you a dial-up
account, 20MB of web space, and 2.5GB of bandwidth per month. Toy++,
indeed.
Why am I telling you this? I don't know, it seemed like a good idea when
I started this email.

On a separate note, 170-odd people have now replied to my exciting poll.

BETA PATTERN CHANGES

All armies:
Completely refitted the race records. They're now lovely and efficient
Harlequins:
Upgraded from the Playtest Codex to the Citadel Journal version. You can
now find them under 'Eldar: Harlequins'.
Eldar (Alaitoc Rangers):
Compulsory units of Rangers must be moved to the Othr composition group
by checking the new 'Compulsory Unit' box.
Heroes of the Imperium:
Half-changed the way Preachers work. Unfortunately there's a bug in Army
Builder preventing me from making the other half of the change.
Hopefully it'll be fixed in v2.0b.
Space Marines:
Moved the Emperor's Champion to the 'Othr' composition group.
Xavier now takes the Salamander's Mantle.
Terminator Assault Squads now get +1A from 2 Lightning Claws.
Black Templars:
Chaplains now get purity seals for free.
The Bike Squad can now only take 3 Neophytes.
Chaos Space Marines:
A Thousand Sons retinue can now take the Blasted Standard.
The Rhino's Combi-Bolter is now free.
Eldar:
Changed the army names to 'Eldar: Craftworld of Gibbons', in the case of
the Craftworld of Gibbons (a rather sad and little-known craftworld).
Black Guardian Grav Platforms now work in a logical way.
Wraithlords no longer need Heavy Weapons.
Dark Eldar:
Poisoned Blades no longer give +1 attacks if used as a second CCW.
Kult ov Speed:
Reimposed limits on Battlewagons and Looted Vehicles, with the exception
of those taken as squad transports, because Andy Chambers said so.
Corrected the Deth Kopta Mek's save.
Imperial Guard:
Finally made the Long-Barrel Autocannon print it's stats.
Bonus change: Made the Baneblade appear again!
Necrons:
Changed the wording of the Scarab's Notes slightly.
Dark Angels:
Corrected Asmodai's wording slightly.
Allowed the Deathwing to take the Land Raider Crusader.
