AB Creator 3.0 where ?

I don't think it's "publicly" available yet... the new beta for 3.1 has the complete docs that the 3.0 version didn't have... The links to the download that others have seen here on the forums are beta tester only links :-(

Hopefully Colen or Rob will see this message and sort you out with a link to the download... Otherwise, flick off an email to support@wolflair.com and ask for it...

It's a tool for creating the xml source files that Army Builder 3.0 uses... I'm not really sure how else to answer this question? It's just like ABCreator for ABv2 except it works with the ABv3 format files....

Mmm.... sample XML file ? And for extension .... (.ab) ? Sample rename it ? (from .xml to .ab) ?

I think the wolflair guys are at a convention this weekend...
They WILL get back to you! :-)

I'm sure you can wait a couple of days to get hold of the construction kit...
It has all you need for developing files for ABv3...

We spent the past week at GenCon, and we just got back last night. This fact was posted on the main page of the website so that everyone knew where we were. We were NOT ignoring you.

I also did a quick search of the forums for the word "kit". The tools used to be called the "construction kit" and are now called the "authoring kit". Of the three topics preceeding this one, two of them contained all the info you needed to get ahold of the kit. So please try the search mechanism next time if you don't get an immediate response with the answer you need.

The Authoring Kit tools were complete with V3.0, but the documentation still needed a lot of work, which is the reason the kit wasn't officially released. The docs are reasonable, but lacking lots of useful examples. The docs are the same docs used by the data file authors that participated in our Beta, so it's a question of whether you want the docs "finished" or not before you dive into them. If you don't mind the docs being Beta still, you can grab the Kit at the URL below:

A massive overhaul of the documentation has been completed and is now being reviewed by the Beta team. Extensive examples and "how to" information is now provided. This new documentation will be included with the V3.1 release of AB. The Authoring Kit will be made publicly available with V3.1, but you can use the V3.0 Kit above in the interim.
