AB 3.1 WFB data file

burk

New member
I own AB 3.1, (liscense expired). When I try to manually import the WFB update from 12/15/09 which says it is for version 3.1, I get an error saying the data file is not compatible with the version of AB I have. Is this file really AB 3.1 and what do I need to do to get it to import?

thanks for your help

Burk

I think the confusion here is that the file is marked as version 3.1. That's version 3.1 of the data files - it doesn't indicate compatibility with version 3.1 of Army Builder. (Take a look at some of the other data file versions - they have numbers like 2.51, 1.14, 4.8.)

As I understand it, the new warhammer files use some of the new features of AB3.2, such as better model list output, so they are not compatible with Army Builder 3.1. Sorry for the confusion.

This is something you would need to ask the data file author. To make sure he sees your post, the proper forum is the one dedicated to the WFB game system.

However, given that the author has begun taking advantage of some of the new features added in V3.2, it's unlikely that he'll be releasing separate files without those features.
