a lil confused on a psionics archetype

was looking at the armored blade archetype and the Form Mind Armaments says this (i deleted the middle part describing armor as it doesn't apply to question):
-----
The armored blade can form a mind blade in the same fashion as a standard soulknife, using the normal rules under the Form Mind Blade class feature. In addition, as a separate move action, he may form mind armor.
This replaces the form mind blade class feature, but counts as form mind blade for prerequisites or requirements.
-----

so in the first paragraph it says the armored blade can still form the mindblade as well as also form the mind armament (just have to use a different move action). but then the last one says the Form Mind Armaments replaces Form Mind Blade feature?

so does it lose mind blade or not? *scratches head*

I am pretty sure they meant to say "This modifies the form mind blade class feature, but counts as form mind blade for prerequisites or requirements." Instead of "replaces".

At the end it reads they Can form a normal mindblade and form this "Mind Armor" in addition.

So I would not have the archetype replace the normal mindblade class feature and add the Mind Armor class special. The Mind Armor class special then will handle all the mind armor logic. Then you have the mindblade class feature and the normal HasAbility tags are placed on the hero so that pre-req's will find them.

i was thinking it would keep both but wanted to make sure i wasn't losing my mind trying to interpret those sentences haha

tryin to figure the logic out by lookin at your form mind blade but still struggling to understand it :o(

No issues. When you start reading the rules in the way you have to implement HL scripts you find these sort of issues. :)

Trust me I have spent plenty of times re-reading a rule a half-dozen times trying to figure out WHAT they where trying to say. :p
