8.4d Can't foreach over invalid container

Redjack

Well-known member
I just updated to v8.4d. Everything was working fine before upgrading.

Since upgrading, I have a six instances of "Can't foreach over invalid container" error. I have exited, deleted all custom .user files and restarted. The errors persist.

Anyone else having issues?

I see the following in the HeroLab.log:

I just installed 9.4d without issues.

I run 5C Community Pack and many of my own custom files. So far, I haven't seen the errors you reported here.

Sorry.

I had this issue as well. After going through everything, I managed to get rid of it by going to Experimental Options under Character Settings, and choosing either the top option (No Statblock) or the bottom option (Full Statblock). Not sure why this got changed

Okay, this is rather curious. Can you report this to tech support? Please include the portfolio.

I had that error with my CofC setup, and it turned out to be that I'd created some .user files (languages if I remember rightly) and they had to be copied back to where they had been before an update.

So you're saying that the issue is the character option "Show statblock summary window"? That is my default option. Nice work tracking that down.
