7th Edition Support

Chaosium is running a Kickstarter for 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu.

Could we confirm that Hero Lab will support the new version of Call of Cthulhu? I've found the 6E files quite handy in managing characters, especially for one-shot games at conventions.

I've backed the CoC 7th edition as well.

Also, I see there's still no custom output for CoC.

It's there for Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, d20, M&M & Shadowrun.

LWD, how about some custom XML output love for the CoC peeps?

all is quiet on the CoC front I see

The silence is just there to make you jump at shadows and have to roll sanity checks for the tricks your mind plays on you before the tentacled horror finally reveals itself to you from the shadows of that old decrepit building you were exploring...

Any news? I was looking forward to the updated CoC coupled with RW but the lack of activity here is discouraging.

I would just like to request that if Hero Labs does plan to implement the 7th edition changes to Call of Cthulhu, that you also provide an option to continue using 6th edition, as some of us, like myself, intend to keep using the 6th edition of the rules.

Chaosium are pushing 7 for everyone now, I'm inte4ested to know what you don't like about it...

The thing is, I have a load of CofC books for 6th edition, both the rules and a shedload of bought scenarios and backup stuff, and I don't want to have to re-buy everything or find myself in a position where the rule book and the scenarios have drifted apart and I'm having to fudge information.

Been there, got the tee shirt with various flavours of AD&D and ended up sticking with the version which worked best for me and my players, which is AD&D 2e.

I can't see why we can't get support for both editions - there is a precedent for this. HeroLab supports two editions of ShadowRun and 2-3 editions of D&D.

Update on 7th Ed. Support?

the 7th Ed. PDF's are out there now and the hardcovers are due to ship soon. Will Hero Lab support 7th Ed?

Looks like months have passed since anything was posted here. The seventh edition has been out for a while now. Am I to assume this silence essentially means there is no interest in CoC support in Herolab for the near future if at all going forward?

I already have the Pathfinder (and a TON of supplements) and the D&D 5e modules for Hero Lab. I was just invited to a Call of Cthulhu 7th Ed game. If there was 7th Ed CoC support, then I'd certainly buy the CoC 7th Ed module. But if it only supports 6th ed, I'll save my money.
