5E Mac Installation

Hi folks,

I'm new to Hero Lab and just purchased the 5E edition. I understand that the community had to put together the information for 5E due to license issues.

When creating a new character, I'm finding some limitations in choices, and I can't tell why.

For instance, trying to created a Rogue, the only Archetype available to choose from is Thief.

Similar problem with choosing Backgrounds - regardless of the character, the only option available is Acolyte.

Suggestions?

You might try downloading and installing the community pack, the license issues are exactly why you are seeing a very limited set of choices. HL can only legally include content which is in the SRD, which means it starts with only 1 feat choice, for example.
