40k Data Error

As per a White Dwarf Chapter Approved article, incase you were confused as to
where that ruling came from. I can't tell you which issue right now, as I'm
at work.

That is because you may detach a Techie or Apothecary from a Command Squad
to
another squad.

However, I have a question. What happens to my intrepid techmarine when he
is detached from a Deathwing Command squad to another squad...

You're implying that if you detach a character from a Deathwing squad, they
should keep their terminator armour, yes? Fair enough.

But bear in mind that certain limitations occur when you take a terminator
apothecary/techmarine . If you attach a techmarine or apothecary to an
assault squad, you have to give them a jump-pack but terminator armour cant
be used with jump-packs. Same goes for bike squads - termi armour cant be
used on a bike or attack bike.

And, IIRC, Dark Angels command squad members cost out at 15 base, not the 18
that codex marines pay for their bodyguards
