Please Note: A number of these changes were actually rolled out over the past week+ while much of the team was at Gen Con. As no patch notes were posted for those releases, they are being included here.

New Features
  • Characters with minions can now control those minions via the "Character" view in the side panel. Any minions can be accessed via the dropdown menu in this view. Any sections of those minions' Play tabs are accessible from another menu, along with a link to load the full minion.

Changes and improvements
  • PF2 - Adds a message indicating the retirement of the PF2 playtest

Bug fixes
  • Numerous performance and stability fixes on the server, with more to come in the near future.
  • Fixes several cases that could cause a client to spam the server with unnecessary requests, causing stability problems
  • Fixes an issue where the list of folders and characters for an account would not get fetched when a different account logs in
  • Fixes HP input displaying "NaN" when any non-numeric input was given
  • Fixes a case where uploading an image that had already been uploaded to the server would fail
  • PF2 - Fixes a case of a loading spinner being invisible in the Fantasy theme

Game Mechanics
  • PF2 - Backgrounds whose trained skill choice is also set as trained by the class now allow the user to select any other skill to be trained, instead.
  • PF2 - Explorer's Clothing can now be etched with runes or have trinkets attached to it.
  • PF2 - Sorcerers can now correctly select Signature Spells.
  • PF2 - Specialist wizards weren't getting their bonus spells from their arcane school.
  • PF2 - The Armor Proficiency general feat wasn't granting proficiency with armor.
  • PF2 - The gladiator background was granting the Fascinating Performance feat, not Impressive Performance.
  • PF2 - Wizards expert and master spellcasting was set at the playtest levels instead of final book level.
  • PF2 - The Experienced Tracker feat had the wrong level and prerequisite.
  • PF2 - The orc necksplitter had the wrong weapon group and traits.
  • PF2 - The katana had the stats for a longsword.
  • PF2 - The Natural Ambition feat was letting you choose from all 1st-level feats if no class had been chosen.
  • PF2 - Vital Beacon spell was incorrectly listed as a level 1 spell instead of level 4.
  • PF2 - The barbarian feat Attack of Opportunity wasn't showing on the play tab.
  • PF2 - The Mage Armor spell adjustment still had the description and effects from the playtest.
  • PF2 - Sorcerers couldn't use the Cantrip Connection master ability.
  • PF2 - The badger animal companion's scent ability was missing its range.
  • PF2 - Wild Morph's text was not displaying correctly.
  • PF2 - Adaptive Adept had the wrong description text.
  • PF2 - The summary of Hunter's Edge had a typo.
  • PF2 - There was a typo in the downtime section of the description of the Sorcerer class.
  • PF2 - The Climber familiar ability had the wrong description.
  • PF2 - The description for the Absalom Lore skill had bad characters in its text.
  • PF2 - The Fey sorcerer bloodline had a typo in its description.
  • PF2 - Burning Hands and Electric Arc had unneeded text for their save effects.
  • PF2 - The druid class's description wasn't displaying correctly.
  • PF2 - The Noble background was not allowing making Genealogy Lore trained.
  • PF2 - Athletics skill text was not displaying correctly.
  • PF2 - The chill touch spell was showing an error when displaying its text.
  • PF2 - Ranger was not getting Master weapon proficiency at 13th level.
  • PF2 - Fighter was untrained in Perception instead of Expert.
  • PF2 - The Barbarian multiclass’ Instinct Ability feat should not be available until 6th level.
  • PF2 - The description for the Fighter Dedication archetype feat wasn't updated from the playtest and still said that it granted armor proficiencies.
  • PF2 - The champion was getting too many starting trained skills.
  • PF2 - Read Lips feat was not listed as a Skill feat.
  • PF2 - The Fighter’s Advanced weapon training ability was not functioning correctly in some cases
  • PF2 - The Wellspring Gnome ancestry was showing no valid spell selections.
  • PF2 - The Otherworldly Magic ancestry feat was showing no valid spell selections.
  • PF2 - The Elven Lore feat was available to dwarves instead of elves.
  • PF2 - Incredible Investiture feat name was misspelled.

I'm still not able to select a different skill, even when making a new character. Getting the same behavior as before: two blue checkmarks and a blue message saying "More than one option has made this skill trained".

EDIT: specifically, i'm trying to combine the Herbalist background with the Fey Sorcerer class, both of which give Nature as a trained skill. it seems to work with other background/class combinations. perhaps the problem is that the second Nature skill is coming from the Bloodline rather than from the base class?

Which background should we test this on? This worked on the ones I've tested, but there might have been one that was missed.

Also, just to double-check, please reload your browser and test again - there's a chance it might not have immediately updated the data.

specifically, i'm trying to combine the Herbalist background with the Fey Sorcerer class, both of which give Nature as a trained skill. i experimented with other background/class combinations and it seemed to work properly-- i got the option to select a different skill.

perhaps the problem with the Sorcerer is that the second fixed skill is coming from the Bloodline rather than from the base class? i reloaded my browser several times, to no effect. i've also submitted a bug report through the game interface.
 
Ok, thanks - we've gotten a fix for Sorcerer bloodline skills combining with backgrounds for the next update.
