Hi, I'm new here.
I just want to know how I can go about editing the Ogre entry to allow for magical great weapons on the BSB.
The datafile is great, but it has long been accepted that an Ogre BSB can take a magical great weapon, even if he is not permitted a mundane great weapon.

It shouldn't really have to be in a FAQ anywhere; there are no default restrictions on what magical weapons someone can have. Page 121 of the rulebook says that a character:

• Can't have more than one magic weapon
• Can't use a magic weapon in combination with a mundane
• Ignores special rules associated with a weapon's type unless specified in the item's rules
• Can carry and use a shield

And that's all. It is the armour section, further down the page and which doesn't reference the magic weapon rules in any way (and vice versa), that restricts what kind of armour a character can wear based on his mundane options.
