Assuming this wouldn't break the whole structure of the program, it would be neat to be able to have multiple story almanacs with the ability to name each one.
Not a priority request by any means. |

Was thinking about this just last night...
+1 Sleet was enjoying a tasty beverage at his local tavern, when a Tarrasque showed up in the local area. He managed to valiantly get on it's back and ride it. How he did it is a mystery to this day... RW: Engine Heart, I Love The Corps! Home Brew: Star Gate: Avalon, Monda Minutia. I'm good with: OpenOffice, Paint, Lego Digital Designer. & not so good with: Realm Works, Hero Lab, CC3+, GIMP, Cityographer, Hexographer, Fractal Mapper, AstroSynth, Inspiration Pad Pro. I'd like to see the World Almanac (or whatever it might be called) always show everything.
Custom Almanacs (which would include the Story Almanac) would be subsets of the World Almanac. Think of how email clients with labels instead of folders (GMail, the old Opera Mail) work. All items are in "All Mail" or whatever, but they can have as many other labels as you'd like. I don't think custom almanacs where an item can only be in one almanac would be useful for me. Maybe I would once I have a huge realm. My testing ones aren't that big yet. :) |

Is there some advantage to multiple almanacs rather than using topic hierarchies?

It would be conducive to the way my mind organizes things. Each adventure could be in it's own story almanac. The topics relevant to a specific adventure could live in that almanac, and the topics relevant to the entire realm could live in the world almanac.
Others may say, "But you can just do it this way instead . . . it's easier." Regardless, this is still something I would like to see. Some others would as well. The rest is up to the developers to decide. |

There is a similar discussion here: http://forums.wolflair.com/showthrea...t=45442&page=5
Maybe these two threads should be combined? Vargr Deputy Calendar Champion Legend has it, that the Tarrasque is a huge fighting beast, perpetually hungry. Sleet entered History when he managed to get on the back of a Tarrasque only to be ridden out of History shortly after. Using Realm Works, Worldographer (Hexographer 2), LibreOffice, Daz3D Studio, pen & paper for the realm World of Temeon and the system LEFD - both homebrewed. |
