Will there be an addition to the Tactical Console in the not too distant future that allows you to group NPCs in the same initiative (i.e. Group of Gnolls all on the same initiative)?

That would be a good option, but i find it more interesting to have HL randomize the init and just let them go at different times in the combat sequence. it makes for a more realistic combat. just my 2 cents though, lol.

This is definitely something we want to do - I'm not sure if it'll get into Hero Lab 3.7, but we're going to try.

It's a little bit of a pain, but the easiest way to do this right now is just to manually set all of their initiatives to the same number (the highest in the group?) and hit the 'Resort' button.

@ChiefWeasel - According to RAW every combatant has its own initiative, but to make things easier on the GM, having all of the one type of bad guy move in unison is much, much better
@Colen - Good to know @Mowgli - That's what I have been doing, but have moved my combat over to Combat Manager until HL fixes that problem |

Here is another vote for this option. It would save a lot of time!
Thanks! |

Since we are talking about Tacticle Console Improvements and grouping, I'd like to add my 2 cents. May we have a way to select a group of combatants (either enemies or allies) and then apply a spell effect all at once? For example, the wizard casts haste, I select all the party members and then add haste instead of opening up each party member and adding it individually.
Thanks |

Hi.
Maybe the option to works on activated abilities in the same pop-up window where you apply damage, condition and adjustments. Thanks. |

Also it would be good to see the available spells that are available to casters in the Tactical console too. |
