Filtering language selection

So I have a background that only gives language choses of Sylvan or Umbral. I thought about allowing any language then write a evalrule but I cannot get the syntax right ?? Can any help ??

I have a requirement to create a background that has only two language options ? I thought about allow the user to select any "background language" but then right an evalrule to confirm they have only select "Sylvan" or "Umbral". Otherwise if anyone has another option, I am willing to entertain it, including the create a background feature and give a drop down of just the two languages, but I cannot get the drop down populated correctly.

When creating a background you should be able to specify both the number of languages they can chose and which ones they can pick from.

I've created many backgrounds and the only problems I've had have been with tools. :/

Am I misreading you issue?

You can specify the languages, but I need the user to choose either Sylvan or Umbral, the tool just lets me start out with both. Unless I am missing something ??

Strange. I've tried various things and still can't limit the languages you can select from on a Background. You can select the number of Languages the Background grants you but can't limit the selection.

Backgrounds have 3 fields for Language Candidate Expressions, but they don't seem to do anything. No matter what expression I put in any of them, you still can select from all the languages available in the game.

It might be a possible HL bug . . .
