Bug Reports - Community Created 3.5 D&D data set

Shadow Weave Magic is in the community set. Turning on either the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting or the Players Guide to Faerun sources should allow you to see it in the feat selection menu.

I will add the Mindsight feat. It appears to have been over-looked, probably because it's in a different location than the other feats of that book.

Ah, somehow PGtF and FRCS got unchecked on mine. Odd. Thanks Sendric!

Animal Companions and DR

I built a Wood Elf Druid with an animal companion(riding dog) and I was wondering, is it normal for the Wood Elf to lose Immunity to Sleep and my animal companion to gain Damage Reduction(5/Magic)?

Just a quick followup on this as I ran into the same issue - looks like all Animal Companions are being given DR5/Magic as it's listed before I even choose the Companion's race.

Thanks for maintaining this invaluable resource!

Regards,

John / Greylin

Alright, thanks. I'll try to figure out what's going on there.

I am hoping that this is just me not knowing where to look (as I am still new to HL), but I cannot find where to create a Psicrystal. I am trying to create a Psion-Telepath, and I gave him the Psicrystal Affinity feat, but I can't find where to actually add the Psicrystal and select a personality. Is that missing, or am I just missing it?

Unfortunately, I don't think Psicrystals were ever added. I'm sure that's something Shadow will add to core eventually, but I wouldn't expect to see it any time soon.

Bug with Variant class Cloistered cleric

Hey guys, just found a bug, not sure if you are aware of it yet.

If you create a lvl 1 cloistered cleric it leaves you with the light, medium, and heavy armor proficiencies and it is only supposed to be light. Then, if you add another class...paladin for instance, THEN it takes away medium and heavy armor proficiencies even though it should be the paladin class that is giving you those.

I was going to try to fix it in the editor myself, however when I try to edit the file for the cloistered cleric it says that file is read only.

By the way...TREMENDOUS fan of your work on this...makes making characters so much easier and more fun! Is there a place we can send you donations for your work?

Prestige Class: Master Specialist BAB

The Master Specialist prestige class (Complete Mage) is advancing with Cleric BAB when it should be with Mage BAB.

With best regards,

John / Greylin

It does look like there are some issues with the Cloistered Cleric feats. However, I believe it is a core issue so I will kick this over to Shadow.

Not so much a bug as a minor omission - Mage Armor, Greater didn't carry through to revised Spell Compendium or Complete Arcane when spells were reworked - it's in the obsolete spell .user file. For now I've added to our campaign .user file but am flagging here in case anybody else is wondering where it went.

Yep. Thanks. I actually already have that resolved for the next release. Once that comes out, you can remove it from your campaign file.

Multiple? Martial Strikes

Hello. I'm trying to add multiple instances of the Martial Strike Feat to a Fighter. I can do it, fill out the helper feats, and then when I go to the Fighter tab to add them via the Special thingy the only one available is the one I add first. What is going on?

I will have to take a look at it. I don't recall it well enough right now to give an answer. I should have something for you on Monday.

Email me at (sendric [at] gmail [dot] com) and I will send you the updated file that fixes this issue.

Minor bug I noticed today: There are two versions of Practiced Spellcaster feat (Complete Arcane, Complete Divine).

The version from Complete Arcane does not appear to work correctly and instead zeros out the caster level. The version from Complete Divine appears to work correctly.

With best regards,

John / Greylin

Thanks. This issue has been addressed. You'll see a fix in the next release.

I am looking for some feats from Races of Eberron, but it appears that, even though the book is selectable as a source in the "Configure Hero" menu, nothing from it has been implemented. As one example, I was looking for "Master Linguist" in the Feats tab.

Also, a friend and I just noticed that the "Skill Points, Per Level" Permanent Adjustment does not award the retroactive skill points on a Cloistered Cleric. We built a 10-level character that was Cloistered Cleric 5/Radiant Servant of Pelor 5. When the "Skill Points, Per Level" was added to the Cloistered Cleric, retroactive points were not awarded. However, when the RSoP class was chosen to get the bonus skill points, it awarded retroactive points.

If memory serves, the addition of Races of Eberron as a selectable source was requested by another user who was working on adding Eberron content. Unfortunately, that content was never added, so we have the source, but no material from that book. I apologize for the confusion and will add this source to the list of requests. I will warn you though that Eberron remains a relatively low priority for me at the moment.

This appears to be specific to the Cloistered Cleric which probably makes it a core issue. I'll do a little more research when I get a chance before kicking it over to Shadow.
