Adding a new specialized unit to Warhammer 40K files

Hi, I'm new to the "authoring" aspects of Army Builder. I want to add specialized units to the Warhammer 40K files so I can incorporate these into my personalized codex. I've read the authoring kit specifics, but don't quite understand how to just add a unit to an already written set of files. Help anyone? :?:

ummm, the best thing to do is copy off the data folder for the 40K files and then have a play - copy one of the existing units that is very similar to what you want then go from there. Apart from that all that can really be said is follow the authoring documentation
