Stuck creating "Shadow Skeleton Triceratops"

Hi there!
I've recently started using the editor and right now I'm preparing a Council of Thieves Game with my friends (Vol 3). They're about to explore Delvehaven and are to find the tricky encounter with the negative-energy skeletal triceratops. I've started creating the creature and went by the following steps:

1) I picked Pick/Roll ability scores

2) Race: Dinasaur-Triceratops

3) Applied Skeleton template

4) Can't seem to be able to move CHA score from 10 (it drops from 11 to 10 after applying the skeleton template) to 14, or, for that matter, to anywhere.

5) Tried applying the advanced creature before 3) and after 4) but this didn't seem to help.

I've tried to find in previous posts but can't seem to find the step where I went wrong (as a note of information: the critter has CHA 14...)

Thanks in advance!!

The skeleton template forces the charisma to 10, if you want to change that you'll have to alter the way the template works, which I can help you accomplish in the editor, if you are interested.

Unless I missed this creature, there should be a negative energy skeletal triceratops already in the council of thieves community files!

I'm fairly certain I made one.:/

You did created it and its called "Negative Energy Charged Creature" template which is applied on top of the Dino, Skeleton stuff. This is live and working in the Community Bestiary v1.8 that is open to the community.

So once installed you get all the creatures done in .por files for CoT for chapters 1 to 6. No reason to do double work. :)

Thank you all. I have downloaded the community bestiary. However, I cannot apply the shadowy thing template to the critter because the editor finds 3 bootstraps "things" nonexistent. I do have all the required (and more!) modules correctly installed.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks again

When you see the error message if you right click on it you can COPY the error message and then paste it into this thread. I tested it quick the other day by opening up the "Shadow Skeleton Triceratops" .por file and it opened without an issue.

Did you apply the skeleton template First? The "Negative Energy Charged Creature" template is meant to go on "after" the skeleton template has been applied. I am pretty sure that is true... :)

Also if you go into your "My Documents\Hero Lab\Portfolios\pathfinder\Council of Thieves\Chapter 3\" folder you should find all the .por for all the creatures pre-made and ready to open or import into HL. So you can just open the .por from their and see if you get any error messages.
